Below Email from vpn user,How to access US Netflix and Hulu in Portugal with US Residential VPN?
Hey my mame is James. I recently purchased other VPN service for three months. My reason for getting a VPN is because I'm in Portugal and I would like to access Netflix and Hulu on my IPhone to watch some of my favorite shows/movies. It seems like I've done the setup correctly however I'm still not able to access Netflix and Hulu on the internet nor through the applications. When I try to access Netflix it states that "It's not available in my location," although I already have a VPN setup. Then with Hulu, I'm just not able to access it at all. Please help me solve this problem. Below are some screenshots

Netflix offers different content based on a user's IP address, regardless of the location of the account. If Netflix recognizes that your current IP address belongs to USA, you can only view content from USA, even if your account is American. If you have multiple zone agents, change the IP address, the content to see will change. Frequent changes on the same device are not recommended, which may lead to excessive url redirection and abnormal viewing records. In this case, please clear the browser cookie
Is Netflix blocking your VPN?
Netflix started blocking VPN users because it does not like the prospect of users all over the world accessing its premier US service. It does not really track your true geographic location, but only checks your IP address to see if it is coming from a datacentre and not from an ISP. If it finds the former to be true, it shows you an error message and denies you access. On the other hand, if you use a residential VPN, there's no way Netflix is going to deny you access. This is because it cannot make out the fact that you are using a Netflix VPN. Your residential IP address checks out, and you can unblock Netflix USA.
So, what are you to do, when stuck in a hotel room overseas and unable to access your favorite shows? Using netflixvpn is the best option for most people, especially because VPN also encrypts traffic to protect your privacy.
